Interesting thought...Light doesn't have a shadow.
If you are being a light, you don't have to worry about living in someone else's shadow. Why are we as Christian "lights" always so concerned about comparing ourselves to other Christians?
If you are being a light...then you aren't living in anyone else's shadow... Just shine as the light God made YOU to be.
True, God designed us all to be different lights, but that's cause we are made to fulfill different needs. Some of us are created to be flashlights, some floodlights, some tea lights, and some fires... But now matter what. Light cannot be a shadow!
Quit feeling you are living in pastor ______'s or sister ______'s shadow. Don't be deceived by thinking your light isn't good enough or big enough. In darkness.... ANY light gives vision!
Be the light God made you to be and don't EVER feel like you have to live in the shadow of another light. The only thing you have to worry about is keeping yourself shining.
Keep your batteries charged, keep the electricity flowing, keep the oil filled, keep replenishing the logs, keep connected to the Source. Keep shining and be the light God made YOU to be!
